✧ How much does pottery painting cost?

At Art Haven Kanata, creativity comes with no surprises!

Each pottery piece is individually priced, with options for different ages, styles, and budgets. From adorable figurines and mugs to beautiful bowls, plates, and seasonal favourites, there's something for everyone!

Our pricing is all-inclusive, covering your pottery piece, paints, supplies, glazing, and kiln firing. No additional studio fees!

Prices vary by item, and our selection changes regularly. HST is additional.

✧ Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are highly recommended, especially during busy periods such as weekends, holidays, and PA Days!

Walk-ins are always welcome when space is available, but booking ahead is the best way to secure your preferred painting time.

✧ How long should I plan for my visit?

Most pottery painting projects take approximately 1.5–2 hours, depending on the piece you choose and how detailed you'd like to get!

Whether you're keeping it simple or creating something extra special, we want you to enjoy a relaxing, creative experience.

✧ Is Art Haven accessible?

We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable at Art Haven!

If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact our team before your visit so we can discuss your needs and help you plan a comfortable experience.

✧ Can I use my finished pottery?

Many of our glazed and kiln-fired ceramic pieces are designed to be functional as well as beautiful!

Food-contact suitability and care instructions depend on the pottery piece and its finish. Our team can help you choose the right item for your intended use.

✧ Can I enjoy food and drinks while painting?

Of course! Creativity is even better with something delicious!

Art Haven has its very own café, offering bubble tea and a variety of refreshing beverages to enjoy during your visit.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, with the exception of booked parties.

We kindly ask guests to keep food and beverages away from unfinished pottery and painting materials to help protect their creations.

Art Haven gift cards make a wonderful present for birthdays, holidays, teachers, friends, or anyone who loves a little creative time.

Ask our team about purchasing a gift card for someone special!

✧ Do you offer kiln rentals or pottery repairs?

Our kilns are primarily dedicated to glazing and firing pottery created in our studio.

Please contact us directly if you have a question about outside pottery firing or ceramic repair services.

✧ Can I bring young children?

Of course! Art Haven is a family-friendly studio, and we love welcoming little artists!

We have a wonderful selection of pottery for children, including animals, figurines, keepsakes, and more.

Young children should have a parent or responsible adult nearby to assist and supervise them during their painting experience.

✧ When will my pottery be ready for pickup?

Once you've finished painting, we'll take care of glazing and kiln-firing your masterpiece!

Pottery is usually ready within two weeks during non-peak seasons. During busier periods, such as holidays and school breaks, firing times may be a little longer.

Our team will explain the pickup process during your visit.

✧ Do I need artistic experience?

Not even a little!

Whether you're painting your very first mug or your fiftieth masterpiece, our friendly team is here to help with colours, techniques, tools, and creative inspiration.

All you need to bring is your imagination!
